Casa Colibrí Malecón

I've yet to stay here, but appreciated that they let me cancel my room free of charge due to the current situation in PV. This will be our first stop when we return! Can't wait!

I was in Deluxe Suite #3, its a apartment with door to the street. This unit is on its own, compared to the other rooms/units that all have a common entrance. I had a great 1 week stay here. -Location is 30 second walk to the malecon boardwalk/beach, so amazing location. its about 10-15 min walk along malecon to the romantic zone, and 10-15 min uber to airport. Lots of food restaurants from pizza, to Mcdonalds, to the bars and restaurants along the malecon. surrounded by at least 3 oxxo connivence stores at every corner. Also located almost right under the city lookout point up the hill near the towers, nice sunsets. -The checking was easy, they sent the info in whatsapp. Even though my unit was separate, i did have to go in the main door, to get to the lock boxes inside the door. Physical key for entry to my unit. -The suite was nice, it was large, had everything i need, well decorated, large TV, came with toiletries, 2 nice towels, but the floor mat/towel was a bit worn out. Very hot water, good pressure in shower. The couch in the living room was actually a mattress but it was nice to lounge on. fridge was good, and there is a few plugs around to use for electronics. The door for unit is one metal locking outer door, and then a sealing inner door that doesnt lock. 2 A/C units, one in bedroom and one in livingroom, both work well. And dehumidifier too. -The building also has a roof top terrace for everyone to use. you have to enter the main entrance, and go up the stairs to the top (the stairs are a bit of a maze, but you will find it). The Terrance has 2 levels, the main floor, which has a suite up there too, and lots of tables/chairs, and the smaller upper level, with some chairs and tables too. Nice views of mountains and roof tops. -The building itself is easy to reconize because of the colours and painting on the outside, its a very nice design. I would stay here again for sure Not many negatives, but: - the unit i was in could use a paint job. The green door trims was nicely painted, but the bathroom walls in particular had marks and stains as well as plaster spots. But the other walls could use a coat of paint too. -The hot water is really hot, but takes a while to come, have to run the water for a min before hot water reaches the unit. -The door to the street outside is not soundproof. you can hear alot of noise really clearly, as if the door was open. And its a busy street. Mostly only hear it in the living room and kitchen, the bedroom is quieter. Great 1 week stay, i would come again!

It was an awesome stay and in the perfect area,.. 200 metres from beach . Malecon is a stones throw from us. Cute little terrace , and had our balcony to enjoy a drink. 200 metres from amazing restaurant Pipi Restaurant, abit pricey but huge margaritas and Guacamole was made in the spot n didn’t charge us. Definitely go back

I was truly happy with my stay at Casa Colibrí — huge thanks to the entire team! The experience felt thoughtful from the very beginning: even before my arrival, I received a warm welcome message saying they were expecting me, and they answered my questions quickly and clearly. Check-in was smooth and easy — everything was shown to me, keys were handed over, and the whole process felt warm, personal, and well-organized. The interior is absolutely beautiful — cozy, stylish, and full of character — and everything you need is right at hand. I used the kitchen a lot, including the microwave and the refrigerator, and it made the stay especially comfortable. Since I stayed for a full week, they also did an extra cleaning and brought fresh towels, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended — outstanding value for the price. Next time I stay in Centro, I will definitely choose this place again.

Paco was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay, the beds were so comfy we couldn’t get out hahaha the location is great! Our room has a balcony and a kitchen. Plenty of space for all our stuff. We recommend it 100%!

The people were so helpful & available. Francisco who takes care of all the details when you arrive is a gem! I can't say enough of how I loved everything about my stay. Kitchen very well equipped, stores & restaurants all nearby. The tiles in the rooms, the paintings, the colourful walls. everything is full of colour & well kept. Very clean.It has air con, It's quiet iinside. The ocean views are available from the shared open air patios on third & fourth floors.Ocean is one short block away. The town is walkable. I would like to keep this wonderful place my secret.

Fantastic place in a fantastic location! The funky cool rooms provide an instant happy vibe. It was well decorated providing nonstop. "Look at this moments. The rooms were clean with super comfy beds. The service was incredible. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal, walking distance to the restaurants, bar, stores, markets & sites of Old Town, the Malecon & Cinco de Diciembre.

Very colourful hotel to stay at with everything that we needed. It is ideally situated (we were going to stay at the marina and thank goodness that we didn’t as that was a bit of a letdown). It is one block away from the main Malecón, which is such a lovely place to walk along and eat and it’s also within easy walking distance to the Zona Romantica. It also has some great places to sit upstairs in a bit of shade with a beautiful breeze and has lots of places where if you needed to work you could do in peace. Although the room is small, it is extremely well designed with lots of shelves and a security box for your valuables. Communication was good and there was always somebody on hand if you had a problem. Thank you.
